Ash M Photography is Central Florida's premier luxury nonprofit photography studio. Founded in 2012 by US Army veteran, Florida native and single mother of four daughters Ashley Major, we exist to make sure the organizations doing the most important work in our community are never visually invisible. In 2019 we made a deliberate decision to serve nonprofits, foundations, civic organizations and purpose-driven businesses exclusively. Not because it was the easiest path. Because it was the right one.
We specialize in creating high-quality photography and video that captures real moments, highlights meaningful work, and reflects the true impact behind every organization we partner with. From community events to branding and outreach campaigns, our focus is on producing content that builds trust, strengthens visibility, and connects people to your mission. With a thoughtful and intentional approach, we help organizations show up in a way that feels authentic, professional, and aligned with the work they do every day.
Our mission is to create refined imagery that embodies your professionalism and leaves a lasting impression, positioning you and your brand with clarity, confidence, and distinction.
A Closer Look
Since beginning my journey as a professional photographer, two defining moments have shaped my path. The first was booking my very first session. In that moment, I felt unstoppable, certain that I was on the path to becoming a six-figure, globally recognized photographer.
The second came five years later, when I began to question why my business had plateaued. It was then I realized I needed a clearly defined visual brand story.
As a photographer, this insight may seem unexpected, but my focus had been within family and maternity photography. Once I committed to visually redefining my brand, both my business and my perspective evolved in ways I could not have anticipated. I developed a deep appreciation for the process of creating intentional visual narratives and was inspired by the results that followed. This experience ultimately sparked my passion for corporate and branding photography.
My journey to Ash M Photography did not begin behind a camera. It began in a college classroom where my professor introduced me to an artist who had used photography to fight injustice, document communities and change minds.
I picked up a camera that week. I never put it down.
For over 14 years I have built this business from the ground up as a US Army veteran, a Florida native and a single mother of four daughters. What began as a photography practice became a calling when I realized that the organizations doing the most important work in our community were also the most visually invisible.
In 2019 I made a deliberate decision. I chose to serve nonprofits and mission-driven organizations. Not because it was the easiest path. Because it was the right one.
Today Ash M Photography is Central Florida's premier luxury nonprofit photography studio. Through Service With Impact I donate professional photography to a nonprofit every single month. Through InFocus Foundation I expand access to photography education for youth in our community.
This work is personal. I built it for organizations like yours.
